It Was Nice So I Washed The Car

First really nice day we've had in Utah for quite some time so I washed the car. Sadly the clear coat on the lip of my wheels is coming off. 5Zigen better cover them under warranty. Anyhow, took some pics.

They came out kind of yellow thanks to poor white balance on the camera. Thank you Photoshop. Next month I'm going to take some really good pics.

Looks awsome man! The car is looking great also. Man, I do kinda miss the Utah sunny days, and definatley when it gets so humid here in virginia.

Thanks man. I'm almost sick of it here. Too much rain and snow. At this rate we will only get spring for a week and then straight up to 80s and 90s.

Re: It Was Nice So I Washed The Car

Really!? That sucks, I lived in layton and clearfield for a year and a half and there was almost no snow the winter I was there, It sucked because I was looking forward to it.

Yeah, the summers there are pretty intense, but without the humidity its cool that at least its not discusting with everyone greasy and sweaty all the time, In Virginia the air is always very humid so as soon as you go out the door your soaked in sweat in summer months.

sorry for hijacking though. but really, car looks impressive.I want some new wheels, and desprately need new leather.

Nice Pics Polygon. Love the car - it looks SWEET!

As for this winter, it has been really wet this year but it won't last. Just wait until next winter - we probably won't get any snow.

Re: It Was Nice So I Washed The Car

LOL, I grew up in Layton.

It's a crap shoot. Winters haven't been all that wet for a long time save for the last two. When I was growing up in Layton we had one winder that was so bad we had to make something to get the snow off the roof. The snow was higher than the rails on our deck which was 36" high.

Yeah, next year it will probably be back to normal, and they will say we're going to have a drought and we'll all die. This year they'll be worried about flooding.

There is no in between.

All I can say is there better be more than a few weeks of spring with nice 70s weather cause' my A/C system has a leak.

Thanks guys.

Tell me, what would you think about the gloss black version of those wheels on my car?

Re: It Was Nice So I Washed The Car

I think bronze would be a better color choice than black, but to each his own.

By the way, I would suffer 364 days of rain to have one day with a view like that from my front porch.

:edit: also, my house could fit in your neighbors garage O.O

Re: It Was Nice So I Washed The Car

Yeah, and I'm not much for Bronze.

Anyhow, I already ordered the gloss black ones. The clear coat on my front wheels was flaking off so I just told them to give me two black ones and I'll just pay for the back two.

So, anybody need two silver machined ones.

Re: It Was Nice So I Washed The Car

god i love pearl white...

i washed my car the other day too, then the next morning the mexicans came and edged and spat grass all down the side of it

and no, i'm not just being racist. if you live in TX, and there are people doing lawn work, 999 times out of 1000 they are going to be mexicans. that's just the simple truth.

Re: It Was Nice So I Washed The Car

What did the men at the Alamo say when they saw 5,000 mexicans running towards them?

"I didn't know we were having the roof done today."

I've also heard the brick laying and concrete pouring versions.
