Hello all,
My 04 cavalier just started having a problem in its steering. When I turn the wheels right I can feel a 'popping' sensation through the steering wheel. I dont really hear any sounds from outside the vehicle. Any ideas? ![]() Thanks! |

Re: 04 CAVALIER Steering, pops when turning right
Sounds familiar. On my 99 way back in the day I had this exact same problem and while turning to the right as well.
Intermediate Steering shaft. There was a silent recall on them way back in the day for my car, so I was covered. You on the other hand might be SOL since they have claimed to have fixed the issue. Luckily for me, i have a complete Steering shaft from an 03 cavalier sitting in my basement if it ever happens to my 04 sunfire.
