Drain the radiator and remove the hoses. Pull it out of the truck. Remove the belts and any mount brackets or mounts in the way. Then remove the pump.
Figure all day on a 302 with AC. I would suggest a Haynes manual you can look at while you are doing the job. Don't disconnect any AC lines just set them aside and tie them in place. You will need basic hand tools. A 3/8 inch metric socket set and ratchet. Combination wrenchs, a prybar, ball peen hammer, extensions possibly a small set of inverted torx sockets. You have to pull the fan and shroud also.

You have to remove the water pump its bolted on and I think this one has a bypass hose which connects behind the pump. When you remove the pump look for a short piece of hose.

To post pictures, you can open a free account at www.photobucket.com - that will allow you to store and manage your images (registration required). Or for a quick and easy upload of pics but with no folder management options, go to http://imageshack.us/ (doesn't require registration).

For imageshack, just go to the link above, then click on Browse, then find the photo on your hard-drive, then click on 'Host It'. The photo will then upload and the page will refresh and give you a list of links. Copy the second link on the list - 'Thumbnail for forums (1)' and paste it into your post here in the forum.

Photobucket is similar - it will give you a link suitable for using on a forum.

Or you can take the direct url and wrap it in [ img][ /img] tags, if you're familiar with those.

Imageshack is the quickest and easiest option.
