exhaust
hey everyone..i have an 98 old cutlass and the muffler has a hole in it..i was wondering if u just cut the muffler out and run a straight pipe from the cat back would it sound good? or would it sound terrible? any suggestion..thannx

Welcome to AF.
ITs your car you can do what you want.... though it might be against your local/state laws. Plus it would be pretty loud and ricey sounding.

thankyou for welcoming me. I did it last night i cut the exhuast and ran a straight pipe from the cat back..its souns ok and pretty loud 4 a lil 3.1 liter. but then again it also sound like it needs a muffler hahaha i wonder y lol..it reminds me of when ur sitting home and you here that noisy obnoxious terrible sounding car out side and u sey to urself damm he needs a muffler.. i have my flowmaster 40 in my garage im pretty positive im just gonna throw that on there its leagal and should make it sound pretty good
