Need some ideas for 3 way comps.
Well i just started doing some work on my system for my TB, now ive been looking at component speakers. I have a few spots to put speakers but i am looking for a set with really good midbass. I have a spot for a 6.5" in the door, i can make a bracket and go all the way up to 8". I also have a spot for a 3.5" speaker in the dash, which i would dremel out up to 4", and i have a flat spot on top of my door panel which is the perfect size for a tweeter.
Ive only really been finding 3 way setups from audiobomb, boss and a few other junk brands. I have found a set of cadence comps, and a set of focals, but i would like to keep the price under 350. I was also thinking of using a 4" Q series MB Quart comps and then getting a 6.5" add a woofer setup. So any suggestions especially from you paul. TIA

Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |

Re: Need some ideas for 3 way comps.
you will have to shop around ..... $350 is very little for 6 quality speakers. Try the tang band 8" midbass, look on a site called madisound and see if they have any Vifa mids or tweets you like. Go thru all the usual forums and see if anyone is doing a group buy.
