4l80e is it a good trany need feed back

im geting ready to buy a 1995 g30 van it has a 4l80e trany in it and i was wondering if this is a good trany i dont hot rod my cars i take vere good care of them i was wondering how long they last if u take good care of them change fluids and so on i have heard a lot of good things abgout this trany i have also heard that it is weak in revs if u stomp on it but why some one would do that i dont know iv heard that it is basied off the th400 trany just elct controlled sorra for the spellin not good at it i plan on get a trany cooler for it i would like to know ever thing thier is to kn ow about these trany the do's the dont when to change fluid and was wondering about the motor it is a 350 tbi ohv i have test drove it and it sounds good shift nice it not a hard shift it a soft one it goes in and out of gear really good thier are no boom bings or any thing out of the trany or motor form what i have done my self it in good cond i would realy like feed back on this let me know

Good heavey transmission.
How many miles on it?
But like any auto Transmission they need a filter change service ever so often.
No fancy flushes with additives and fit all fluid just use the right fluid and pan drop and filter change.

Yes it is based on the old 400 but with a overdrive and pc controls
