wheel spacer, bigger tires?
I got some new BFG 265/75/r16 AT TA KO's on my 99 2 door and wanted to go bigger but they rub on what I think is my sway bar. If I throw on some wheel spacers, am I gonna be able to fit maybe 285's or 295's?

Re: wheel spacer, bigger tires?
Wheel spacers are a bad idea in general. They put the weight on the lug nut studs, rather than the hub ring. I have seen two vehicles with spacers that had all the lug studs broken off. Fortunately both of these happened at low speeds so nothing horrible happened (other than to the vehicle).

Re: wheel spacer, bigger tires?
Agreed, plus they reduce lug to stud engagement depth, very dangerous without longer wheel studs.

Then you guys wouldn't happen to know the stock rim offset would ya. I've got these stock ones now. http://s246.photobucket.com/albums/g...=aly5015lg.gif Or what a good offset would be to run. I'm thinking of getting some American Racing Baja 16x8 or 16x10

Re: wheel spacer, bigger tires?
You can measure them yourself, get a straight edge across the back of the rim, measure down to the back of the mounting flange, this is the rear offset.
