Hesitation problem 93 century 3.3
Hi all,
The car runs perfect when completely cold, when it starts to warm up it hesitates the worst, also some surging noted until speed is reached. After complete warm up the car only hesitates when pulling from a stop, and its not as bad as during warmup. I will be thankfull for any help. Forums are great! |

More info, I've changed the plugs, wires, and the fuel pressure vacuum hose located near the top of the TB. Also the fuel pump died a couple of weeks ago and was replaced. the hesitation was there before the pump was replaced also. The service engine lite has remained off. Thanks!

Welcome to AF. Read the post titled "89 Buick stalls on takeoff". No sense repeating myself in this thread. Here's the link:

Thanks for the reply richtazz,
I checked out the link and I'm thinking possibly MAF or TPS, the car has never actually stalled. only hesitates when accellerating from stopped, its worse during warmup and not real bad after reaching operating temp. What has me puzzled is that when I first start up the car (cold) it seems to run perfect, no hesitation at all, until it starts warming up. I like your sugestion about autozone. However I've yet to see an CEL. |
