I'm looking at buying a 2005 LSE, and I was wondering what problems people are having with this car. I'd appreciate any and all feedback. The reason I'm asking for feedback is so that I'll know weather or not to buy this car, and if I do, what I might be getting myself into. It has 54,000 kilometers on it.
Thank You to everyone who responds Chris |

Re: Please report LSE problems
The 2003-2006 LS is pretty reliable compared with the first generation. The only common issue I can think of is sticking shift solenoids if the appropriate additive hasn't been added.

Re: Please report LSE problems
hi chris, I am having one problem with my lse. it is a 04 and has 46000 miles on it. I am looking to sell it if you are interested. The problem is a misfire in the 7th cylinder, the trouble code says that it is a short or a ground wire in the coil. It drives perfectly other than that. I know for sure that you won't get a good deal on these types of cars unless there is something wrong with it. I just really need to get out of my loan because I cant afford it anymore. I am selling it for 16,000. I bought it 2 months ago for 17,995. My mechanic says that it isn't a hard problem to ficx, but i just don't have the time or the extra money to throw out. Let me know your thoughts on this.
