Seatbelt not retracting

I have 01 elantra w/ 105K miles. My seatbelt (driver's) is not retracting sometime. As I slammed the door shut, the seatbelt metal piece stuck at the doorway damaged my car door and the frame. Any easy way to fix this or should I replace the whole assembly?
