That's 100k for me

This week my car will turn 156k miles on the clock. I bought it with 56k. That means I personally have put 100k on it since I bought it.

So here's what's gone wrong in 100k miles:

Alternator failed (brushes/commutator wore out)-replaced
Couple of sets of tires
Brake pads and disks
Brake shoes
timing belt
rear wiper power wire broke-still needs fixing
headlight switch failed-replaced
Got backed into which required a new radiatior, hood, bumper cover, and radiator support, two headlights+paint
axle back replaced when old tips rotted off

I'd call that a damn good car.

My car finally rolled over 150k. I've put about 30k on the car and nothing has been wrong. -knocks on wood-

Just hit 157k in mine, bought it 1 year, 1 month, 1 week ago today. Had 130k when I bought it, and a new engine swapped in by the previous owner. Has needed the following since I owned it.

New Motor Mount
New CV boots
New Distributor
New Muffler (stock one rusted off)
New Cat (when distributor failed, excess gas clogged it)
New Tires (the vx rims were a bonus)

And thats about it mechanically concerned.

When I bought the EX it had 151k on it, when I had to park it it had 154k. I parked it because it needed a new clutch (and a redneck mechanic screwed up the one he was installing), new clutch cable, and new engine... $1999 well spent...
