got an engine here, i think came from a camaro

Well I got curious as to whether or not the engine in my corvette was original. Its not. The suffix code on the engine is CGC which i could not find anywhere in my corvette black book. So the engine is probably not corvette. I was doing some research and I found thats a suffix code for 71-72 camaros with 350ci rated at 245 hp with a TH350 trans.

Can anyone confirm that is what the suffix code is or tell me what it actually means?
