amp help

Hey guys I'm sure this type of question has been asked before but I'd appreciate any help...I have 2 12' pioneer subs (TS W300R) and I need to know what amp to buy and where is the cheapest place to get one. I dont want a crazy good amp, just something decent and relatively inexpensive(that suites my subs)...I have a link to the specs but honestly I dont know what they mean, which is why I came here so rather than trying to learn all about it, some experienced people could help me out...Heres the link http://www.shopping.com/xPF-Pioneer-...-Cone-TS-W300R

Re: amp help

go to Crutchfield.com they not only tell you what will fit in your car but show which amps work with which components, skeakers, amps, etc. Overall theyre a bit pricy but as long as you get the info. you can take it to your favorite electronic store or of corse the always reliable ebay....

Re: amp help

no, you have (I think) two four ohm subs, that means you can get either 8 or 2 ohms when wiring them, you should look for an amp that is 2 ohm stable in bridged mode with around 300-400 watts rms, go to walmart and get the 760 watt pioneer they have, it'll be a good amp for your subs and it'll match too, I think its around $170

Walmart

Ebay you can get a good hifonics amp, for around 100-150. And if they are dual or single voice coil you can get a good Mono amp that is 2 ohms stable. Or a good 2 channel amp and run each sub on its own channel. If you dont like ebay, www.sonicelectronix.com or www.onlinecarstereo.com Ive used both places and have had good service with both.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

If its hooked up properly and not pushed over its limits or abused it should outlast any warranty. And i know sonicelectronix offers a warranty through them on most products.
