Re: who are you?
I bought my z34 in Feb last year. brought it back from the dead. A ton of $$$ later, I simply love the car. Converted flatbed filter to a k&n cone with a chrome plated elbow "got rid of the acordian". race mod iat bypass. flowmaster 40's and magnaflow cat. not much else you can do to mod this car other than performance pulleys. cosmetic: looking to throw a bra on it "85 bucks" and tint the windows "27* sides and 35* back" for $150. Did most of the repair work myself since most mechanics run in the other direction when they see it coming. some of the shhhtuff I had to have done:
altenator, radiator, serp belt, a/c, all vacuum lines, ceramic brakes and rotors all around, radiator hoses, plugs and coil pak, tps, iac, knock, o2 sensors. whew. does it end? cant complain tho, 205,000 miles and still running faster than most v6's out there "top end that is". this car has NO 0 - 60. but once you hit that 4000 rpm mark, its all rearview mirror for you. by the way, I had to replace the driver side door handle "$35", easy fix. the dash is the pain. like everyone else, its warped. I order a new dash cover kit from partstrain.com. hoping it will fix the appearance. oh, another thing, spent another $700 updating the bose system in it. yes it was a must. anywho, ill help whoever i can on here with what i've gone thru and how i fixed the prob. nice to meet you all. Gary

Re: who are you?
Hi!
I haven't been on in a while, but I still have my 3.4. Not a Z34, but the ever elusive 3.4 4 door. Like most of the 3.4 owners, I do my own work. Most shops either won't work on it or charge waaaay too much.
