Re: Air Charge Temprature Sensor

return that sensor and ask for a new one. If it was ever dropped or mis handled it will malfunction. Seen it happen multiple times.

If that doesn't cure it, get a voltmeter and check resistance across the terminals to see if its a crimped wire somewhere.

Re: Air Charge Temprature Sensor

Exchange the sensor first and see how that works, they are very delicate and can't be dropped and the glass sensor cant be touched

Welcome to AF on your first post.
When posting with you problem it is best to start a New thread/post.
And someone will help you.
And give all info year make and mileage and engine.
Also info on.
Did you also replace yours or just gitting the code?
Is it pluged in?

Re: Air Charge Temprature Sensor

Did you get 4.6 to 5 volts on the tan wire, (signal wire), ? If you did this indicates a bad sensor. If not then you have a short to ground somewhere along the signal wire to the PCM. Also check the sensor ground .
