Talking Used Camry(140kmiles):Let It begin

Hi Everyone!
I Recently Received A Used 2001 Camry With well over 139,000 miles on it.
I it seems to work fine, save the vibrating steering wheel and body(warped brake rotors-read the FAQ), And and a A/C-Heater that Won't come on unless on Hi.

I was planning to get the oil changed next week but before that I was wondering what I should look at repairing on the heavily used engine. My goals are as follows:

-Keep the car reliable.
-Not go broke. Build it up over time.
-Replace some stock parts for better performance, efficiency, and safety.
-Gain some power(No street racing-which is dangerous if not illegal)
-Acquire some knowledge about how a car works.

Basically I want the car to be more that a just a car that gets me from point A to B. I want A little more "fun" from driving my lovely Camry.

I think the first thing that should be replaced are the Brake Rotors seeing how it may be a safety concern. Next, I want to focus on the old engine. I am unsure of what what could go wrong with it and if add better-that-stock("performance") parts will harm it.

I hope the people in this forum can help me in keeping my car fun and in good condition. Thank You!

You have a bad blower motor resistor. Follow the wiring to the blower motor up under the passenger side of the dash. It is usually located in the blower housing itself, as the blower actually keeps it cool to lenghten it's life. It is usually held on by 1 screw (sometimes 2 screws) and has 1 modular electrical connection running to it. Remove the connector and the 1 screw and the part will come out. This is a dealer only part that runs about $50 - $60. Take the old with you to the dealer so you can actually match it up with the new part. This part takes about 5 minutes to replace.
