Re: car smokes at start up
typically white smoke is oil burning blue smoke is too much fuel
dont misjudge white smoke with white steam as white steam is water |

Re: car smokes at start up
White Smoke = Coolant
Blue Smoke = Oil Black Smoke = Fuel condensation can accumulate in the exhaust which will blow white steam as it gets burned off.... does it go away after driving for a while?? |

Re: car smokes at start up
i dont know why people always try and say color is the best tell for a smoking car. its not. smell is. if your burning oil or coolant, you will be able to tell by its smell. oil smells like burning oil/plastic/ect. since its all petroleum product, and coolant has a very sweet smell to it.
