94 Ram 350 stalls

This 94 Ram 350 van 15 passenger runs great most of the time. But occasionally, specially after getting good and warmed up. It will die when stopping at a stop sign or light. All the lights and guages are normal. There is no check engine light. It will immediately start back up but we must keep foot on gas at all times, specially at the next stop, foot on gas and other foot on break. I am open to any suggestions of help.

Does it seem to be more of a problem when the fuel tank is half full or less? If so, your fuel pump is starting to go. Connecting a fuel pressure gauge during the time of trouble will confirm this as the problem.

Re: 94 Ram 350 stalls

Another thing that might indicate a weak fuel pump, does it have the problem when you fill the tank? I had a bad fuel pump and when I put more gas in, the weight of the fuel helped build the fuel pressure, also the fuel in the tank is a coolant for the pump, that's why one of the worst things to do with an in tank pump is run it low on gas.
