95 Neon Fuel Pump Fuse

I have a 95 single cam Neon that I put a 99 twin cam engine in my question is it blew a fuel pump fuse is this a clue of pending doom for the fuel pump or just more bad luck

Re: 95 Neon Fuel Pump Fuse

Did you check the wiring to the downstream O2 sensor? It can ground out and blow the fuel pump fuse.

Re: 95 Neon Fuel Pump Fuse

Just came in from fixing, the connector for the downstream O2 sensor came off the alternator braket and fell onto the axle rubbing the insulation off the power & ground wire. Thanks for the reply
