need help with fuel rail
ok i just swapped out my non turbo motor with another non turbo motor and the fuel rail on the new motor is different then the old one. The new one has and extra 3 inch nipple coming out and when i start the car fuel comes out of it. Would it be ok to just cap this off or should i take the fuel rail off the old motor and use that one.

Re: need help with fuel rail
The fuel rails on the 95 420as have the FPR built into the fuel rail. The 96+ have the FPR fight off the ruel filter. You technically could just cap the nipple off but I would just swap fuel rails just so you wont have to worry about it leaking.

Re: need help with fuel rail
Just swap them. Jerry-rigging a part to work when you've got the right one makes about as much sense as pooping into a plastic K-Mart bag in your living room when you've got a perfectly good toilet in the bathroom down the hall.
