Fire Bottle Sage Continued

I pulled my Halon bottle out of the car yesterday. The bottle had a decent charge left in it, but the pressure is below the 11 bar "green" zone. So it needs to be refilled.
Just as with Brian's Bottle, the top was a bit rusty. I flaked off the paint to see how bad the rust was. Mostly surface rust. Not too bad. Certainly not bad enough to degrade the pressure rating of the bottle. I want to get the bottle refilled locally, but with the visible rust I dont think any reputable shop would fill it. Too much liability. Since the rust was on the surface only, I decided to sand off the existing paint and rust, and then repaint. I painted the top and bottom of the bottle black. The bottle look's kinda goofy with the sun oxidized red (pretty pink)center, and the black top and bottom, but I figured that any company would certainly fill the ugly thing.
I found a local shop that would at least try an do the refill. Not questions about the funky paint job. The only problem was that the bottle should be filled with Halon 1211. The shop doesn't have any 1211 on hand, they use 1301 exclusively. They're looking for a small amount of 1211, but it's crazy expensive like $25 per lb. Minimum quantity seems to be 50 lbs. He's still looking for a 10 lb bottle.
So who has been successful in getting their Halon bottle refilled? Know venders that I can ship the bottle to and get it filled? Shipping a pressure vessels is a problem, but I'm in a hole here.
My first race is mid-April so I need to get it refilled before then. I guess I can purchase another fire system, but that's got to be a lot more expensive. Thoughts?

Re: Fire Bottle Sage Continued

I sent mine back to FireBottle. The refill cost $159 and they replaced the valve. Took about 2 weeks. Just sent the bottle FedEx ground no problems.
