Cool Wanna Rebuild the Motor

Can someone tell me if i can hone the cylinders in a talon motor, or do i have to ship out to have done. I am old school and not familiar with the engine make up.

Welcome to AF!

Yes you can hone the cylinders yourself. You buy the attachment for your drill or something.

Yes you can, but you'll have to use some honeable rings as well like Hastings. I prefer to use the bead hones instead of the stone ones on our motors.

The beads are the ones that can stretch right?

Stretch? I don't think so. The some of stone ones have springs on them, but they don't "stretch."

Bead hone.

Stone hone.
