Exclamation I'm doing the atx to mtx. HELP!

I have a 98 contour. came with an atx but it went out. so I got a deal on a mtx, pedals, slave cylinder, shifter etc. for 400 bucks. Now I'm trying to do the swap. If someone has done it before, please, I would apreciate if you give me tips or helpful info. thx.

i can safely say nobody on here has. people on contour.org and newcougar.org have.

FWIW, your going to need a lot more parts then the parts you posted above.

Re: I'm doing the atx to mtx. HELP!

you think so josh? Cus, i got the car for 800 dls. just cuz the atx went bad. Got this great deal for 400, it included the clutch assembly the switches that go on the pedals, all the other stuff that goes on the center console with the shifter, all the little screws, I mean everything man! I even grabed the instrument panel cuz mine didn't have the tach, and that one did. I even have the time to do it. I would apreciate the advice of those who have done it.

Re: I'm doing the atx to mtx. HELP!

you need the whole wiring harness, mtx subframe, basically you need the whole front end of the MTX car to successfully do the swap.
