Replacing third brake lights?

I have a 2002 Grand Prix GT and all the lights are out in my third brake light. How do I replace them?

Re: Replacing third brake lights?

You'll have to remove the rear seat bottom cushion, rear seat back, and rear shelf carpet/speaker covers to gain access to the high mount stop-lamp bulbs. It's not as difficult as it sounds. The bottom cusion comes out with two pull tabs on either side of the center hump. The seat back is held in by 4 bolts at the bottom (2 of which also anchor the rear seatbelts) and clips at the top. The rear sheelf carpet is held in place by two big plastic push-in retainers.
