Blinking gas gauge

Please let me know if I researched this correctly. I believe that the blinking gas light and gas gauge reading incorrectly are on in the same issue. That issue is the fuel sending unit?

I think it's still covered under warrenty. My truck is a 2001 w/ 120,000 PT warrenty. Is any of this correct?

The dealership is telling me that in the 2001 + years Isuzu seperated the FSU from the fuel pump and that it isn't covered

Now they are saying like $400 to fix it!

Re: Blinking gas gauge

I appealed to Isuzu directly and they have agreed to cover both the FSU and FP under warrenty. Although I had to call them twice to make it happen. The first lady said no and the second said yes

Lucky you! Even ppl at isuzu have no idea if its covered or not. Somone on another board had the stealership tell them it was covered. Surprised me, they usually try to get out of it.

I guess it was lucky. It took me over three hours of phone work to make it happen. Still totally worth it, but a pain in the butt none the less.
