Will a leak in the fuel lines case stalling?

This may be a dumb question. I don't know. I have had a few cars with fuelleaks in various places but someone told me that my 93 T&C has high pressure lines and a leak in the line to where a good amount of fuel leaks out will cause stalling. At first I thought this was an oil problem, then a possible problem with an injector or something else that could cause stalling but someone said that the line may be suckking in air and messing things up as far as the air fuel ratio as well as a lack of adequate fuel pressure. Right now I have to two foot the van and keep the RPMs up to keep it running most of the time. Am I on to something here?

I believe the electric fuel pumps have a constant pressure, even tho you have a fuel leak your pressure may drop a little but I don't think it will suck air like the old mechanical pumps that operated off the camshaft. Check your pressure with a gauge , should be 46-50 PSI. Have you changed the fuel filter lately. Have you checked for codes with the key dance?

Instead of a fuel line, maybe the person that you were talking to was referring to a vacuum line.

If a vacuum line was disconnected or bad, that could cause stalling.

?No, I am pretty sure he meant fuel line. He said that with high pressure lines you get stalling because the pressure is offset by a leak. I don't know if they are high pressure, but they seem like they could be. I haven't seen gas run out at such a fast pace down the line to the lowest point and then onto the ground. Im thinking of getting some hose and clamps to test my theory.

My guess would be if fuel was just seeping or dripping, it would be enough to create a stall. If it's squirting, maybe. Course if it's squirting you either get it fixed asap or get out the marshmellows and skewers.
