HEI distributors

Does anyone know if a big block HEI distributor from a chevy will fit into a1976 pontiac 400 engine.

NO! While it may physically fit in the engine it won't work. Chevy's distributors rotate clockwise... Pontiac, Buick & Olds distributors rotate counter clockwise
