2003 Town Car 72K

I just purchased this vehicle and I love it, it is a very good quality every way you look at it. My question is I'm getting 13-14 mpg and my mostly driving in the city (3-4 miles to work and back). Do you think this is normal if it is not what should I look for it.
Thanks guys this is a great forum.

Too many variables to give a good answer -- how you drive, how much stop'n'go, flat or hilly, speeds, etc. I seem to get 16-18 mpg in suburban driving of a 2000 TC. I've never tried to calculate it, but I'm sure my 19-year-old daughter gets a lot less driving the same roads.

This is my wife driving and she on the heavy foot side a little bit but still I think should be more, I will change the spurk plugs and air filter and go from there I guess.

Check the digital readout of gas mileage as you drive, too. It'll be obvious what gobbles gas and what doesn't, and you can adjust driving accordingly.
