Blinking blue water temp light

My water temp light blinks blue and sometimes it stays on for a long while. My coolant level is fine. Does anyone know what this means? Thanks!

Re: Blinking blue water temp light

Possibly means that the Coolant Temp Sensor is faulty - light should be blue till coolant reaches a certain temp then extinguish. Should not come on again.
Maybe check wiring connector on sensor then replace - they don't cost too much - sensor plugs into the coolant hose to the left of the air filter.
Good Luck.
