Fuel Pump for 99 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.0
I was wondering about the pump module manufacturers and quality of the different pumps. Ive heard to only use GM, although Airtex claims to be the same quality and has same 1 yr warranty. The local parts stores carry Carter and Master.

Airtex and Carter fuel pumps are junk!Airtex will not cover theirs under warranty calling it installer error 99.9% of the timeAirtex used to make Carquest's fuel pumps,lot of failures and switched to Delphi.Delphi makes GM's fuel pumps and now for Carquest.Some of Carquest's fuel pumps are made by Bosch and the Delphi is the better one.Since Carquest switched to Delphi,I never seen one of theirs fail.
