teflon on brake pressure switch?
Did anyone find the need for a quick pass of plumbing teflon onto the threads of the brake pressure switch? I installed 1 on the weekend, felt that I'd torqued it on "good and tight" but noticed after there was a slight leak between the reservior and the switch after a 5 mile test drive. So, I tightened it a bit more. No leak so far (since driven 20 miles) but I'm wondering if there was some sort of teflon or similar on the threads of the previous, OEM one.

Re: teflon on brake pressure switch?
Hello
As a general rule I have never used teflon tape on any brake tubing fittings. So....My thoughts would be no. Regards Dan

Re: teflon on brake pressure switch?
No need for teflon tape. You had a flare nut fitting that needed a little more torque.
