Need the Y pipe

I'm just wondering if anybody has an extra Y-pipe(the one after the cats, before the muffler) Mine broke the other day after I hit a huge crater in the highway. Junk yards don't save exhaust around here, and I don't want to spend $300 on one from the stealership.

Re: Need the Y pipe

An exhaust shop should be able to fab one up for it.

Re: Need the Y pipe

It is broken right at the flex pipe that is connected to the cat on the drivers side, and exhaust shop said they couldn't get flex like that to weld in there. They said I had to order the whole y-pipe

Re: Need the Y pipe

Mike (protetype on planetisuzoo) had a complete cat back system including y-pipe and muffler done at a local shop for under $200. I would look at finding another shop to do it.

Re: Need the Y pipe

My flex pipe was worn through, preventing me from passing emissions due to a gross exhaust leak. Brought it to a local welding shop. They simply welded in a solid pipe in place of the flex pipe and had it back to me in a few hours... cost: $40. Passed emissions and my $1000 95.5 Rodeo has been sailing smooth for 15k miles (just broke 107k ).
