95 explorer 4.0 4x4 power problem

I have a 95 explorer eddie with the 4.0L with approx 155k. I just replaced the plugs and wires and put in a fuel filter. I have checked compression and all cylinders range from 135-150 and had the catylitic convertor checked. The explorer still has no power its all it will do to maintain 65mph and any incline it shifts out of overdrive. Any suggestions would be greatful

Have you checked the air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor? Has you fuel economy changed? Is the engine running smoothly, just with little power?

That may be the key. Oiled air filters are notorious for contaminating the MAF sensor. A contaminated MAF can certainly cause loss in fuel economy and may be the reason for the lack of power. I would suggest you start by very carefully cleaning the MAF sensor.
