leaking coolant big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok yesterday i drove for 38 mins from long beach cali to laguna cali for my friends b-day bash. right when i reached laguna and parked my car i hear steaming coming from my hood. dude did my car break down, cuz once i opened up the hood i see my coolant leaking all over my engine, i thought shit i cant drive back home.....but i decided to put water before my trip back....what is the cause of this? is this a major problem to fix? my friends told me it might be a blown hose or something what do u guys think.....and what is the cause.....see the freeways at laguna are all up hill so im assuming my engine was stressed out? how much would it cost to fix? thanks a lot

where was in leaking from? My guess a hole in a hose.. maybe a cracked radiator.. you got to find where it is coming from to find out what the problem was..
