Fuel Line?
I just finished replacing my fuel pump on my 2000 Sierra. However, as always, I ran into a snag. I broke the tee that goes to the middle fuel line (at the pump). The line says "NOT REPAIRABLE". I think this is part of the EVAP system. If that's the case, couldn't I buy a new tee, and rubber hose and clamp it on? How much pressure is on the Evap system? Surely not as much as the actual fuel lines. Anyone else ever run into this? Thanks, Ray

Re: Fuel Line?
the line connects to something similar to a vaccum ball. on my dads 94 the ball actually kept either falling off or blowing off causing the pump to go bad. another thing you could do would be to take the pump back and tell them it was broke when i came out of the box and that you just didnt notice it until you started putting the lines on. it might be easier than trying to fix it, those lines shoudl be plastic anyways and thats why they are not repairable
