Completed C-West RX-7

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290604291

Aoshima's FD3S... turns out that I completed this model before my s2000.. turned out ok as my first model, but I had quite a challenge. First of all, fitment is a big issue with this kit. Front bumper and headlamps don't fit really well.... but good thing I sprayed the car black so it's not that apparent. Decals .... I still dont know whether I made a good decision to add them... the clear parts show up very clearly on black..... but other than these problems.. this was a rather fun experience.. hope I won't screw up the s2000

comments, critiques, suggestions are all welcome

Nice work! I'm a sucker for gold wheels on a black car. I still want to see your S2000 with the mugen wheels on if you would indulge me.

well... I guess the fitment problem isn't really a problem to more experienced modelers, but overall, this kit has some pretty good detail and quality. The Advan RG's are to die for

The wing is a little too high for my taste, but other than that it is very nice. I like it.

The wheels are a bit small imo... I think they're like 16"?
I have no idea how to lower this car... or any other model for that matter? When you look at it side view, it looks like a 4x4!!!

the way i lower my cars are chopping a bit of the suspension...
i don't know if that is the right way of doing it ... but it works for me

16"??? they're 18! and they look it too! the Fujimi ones might be the crappy ones you're thinking of, but the Aoshima versions (of which i have 2 sets) are spot-on if you ask me. my favourite wheel in real life! too bad they're O.O.P....
