1995 or Newer.

Theres a certain cutt-off guys!
1995 and greater are good buys anyways, use the others for Parts.
Plastic,rubber,and Gaskets will Age!
If routine maintenance wasn't performed, you are setting yourself up for PROBLEMS.

CANCER!

CAUTION - OLD SHIT stinks when you put a stick in it,and nobody else has cleaned it!

FRESH SHIT needs tobe cleaned up!

I like 1995 and Newer,because of :
1) Overdrive Transmission,better fuel mileage.
2) OBDII - But 10 years old you don't have to worrie about Emmissions.
3) Better window switches.
4) No whip antenna.
5) Better INTAKE.
6) Better ReSale.
7) 134a Air condition.
8) Better Paint.
9) The newer the car,the less Issues your going to have!

** Ford has done a pretty good job weeding out the problems.

Note:

There is a grave-yard of Parts, I might consider ENG,TRAN,or METAL if
Needed.
PLASTIC,SEALS,and GASKETS, there is good deals on new After market Parts for this CAR.

Stick to your own rules:
my 95TC is 137K going for 250K miles.
New water pump,hoses,starter,alternator,Air bags,and Battery.

Note: I got this car 5-years ago for free, because it had so many problems.

HOME WORK HELPS:AF FORUMS,RECALLS,NADA,KBB,GOOGLE,and EBAY.

Know what the car is worth!

I like to turn lemons into lemon-aid.
