Adding Oil Pressure Gauge
GA_googleFillSlot("Forums_ROS_300x250_noad");var tcdacmd="sa=a;sz=3;ad";
i have a 2000 Grand am with the 2.4 motor, and I would like to add an Oil Pressure Gauge. Should I put in a mechanical or an Electric style gauge?? How is the best way to put in these gauges?? Thanks |

Re: Adding Oil Pressure Gauge
Electric for sure. They are a bit more expensive, but there's no risk of the extra hose breaking and spraying oil all over your cars interior. You could probably just buy the 3-wire sensor (opposed to the 1-wire switch that's in there now) and connect the extra wires to the guage. You'll also need the connector for the 3-wire. Just remove the switch in the head and install the sensor. Make sure the resistance works for the guage you buy.
