92 caravan wiring for Trunk Switch

hi i trying to install a remote car starter on a 92 caravan i done it before for my lumina with a relay but now with the 92 i cant really not 100% sure since the lumina used 4 prongs on a relay and the van uses 5 thats including the middle prong on a standard relay

it says in the diagram that

pin 87 is either 12 volts or ground
pin 85 is 12 volts
pin 86 is trunk release output from remote starter
pin 30 is selenoid side of the trunk release wire
pin 87a is to switch or BCM side of the trunk release wire

now it also shows a dotted line cut between selenoide side of trunk wire release wire and to switch or BCM.... wire

so what em i to do or what not?

# 30 is power and when the relay is energized and the contacts close and power is supplied to pin 87

Re: 92 caravan wiring for Trunk Switch

ah i figured it out you have to cut the wire in half and the wire that goes to the switch goes to pin 87a and the power wire coming in goes to pin 30

now i gotta figure out which wire is the parking light wire lol since i cant get into kick panel so i at the actual switch but there is no black/yellow wire
