1999 lumina radio installation problems
I am trying to install a new radio in my 99 lumina but i cant figure out how to get my dash off. i dont know if it has clips or screws and i dont want to just pull it off and break something. Can somebody help me with my problem?

Man...I put a new unit in mine a few years ago...and I remeber it being frustrating but then suddenly made perfect sense...seems like there was a few hidden screws at the bottom, the rest was held with clips or vecro or some combination...I remember having to have it in nuetral with the column pulled down low in order to swing the trim out and over the wheel....
Look under the kick panel below the column, and take the ashtray out and see if there's a couple of screws above it... Sorry I can't remember for sure...

Yea i spent a hour and a half yesterday tryin to figure out how to get it off. But ill check and see if ur right thanks for the help

**If I remember correctly** All you have to do to get the main part of the dash off is drop the panel below the steering wheel with the 2 screws that are visible, and the rest just pulls off. (held on by clips). Removing the assembly from around the steering wheel is a bit of a pain, but just tilt the wheel as far down as possible, and it's easier.
