Wheel Slips When Making Left Turn??

hello--

i have a 96 4wd tahoe...and for abt 2 weeks now ive noticed everytime i make a left turn (dependn on how sharp) the left front wheel slips a lil bit...kinda feels like something disconnects...then reconnects...its like a pop and a slight hop..i know i possibly need a wheel alignment...would that be causing this?

ps there are no clicking noises when i turn...

i would check ball joints ... jack up vehicle grease ball joints and see if they are solid use large pry bar, most likely lower ball joints then check the other front end steering componets for wear.. how often do you lube these parts?????

umm ive never lubed them personally (im a female) and i have no clue as to if they've been lubed period...

and my truck is raised high off the ground anyway so i can see the part by the wheel...its dirty..black..looks liked caked up dirt,oil, and other crap ...the one on the right wheel is perfect though..

Could be a bad CV Shaft on the left side. If the boot broke, there will be grease everywhere.

don't use that i'm a women excuse.... i've worked with many women in the repair business and they are just as good as the men.... although they do like the cleaner jobs ,,, but doesn't everyone....these joints must be greased often..... i grease 3x per year and inspect for wear..... this will keep these parts from failure and will keep tires from damaging wear patterns.....now because you stated that the drivers side was dirty and greasy i will guess that this is the problem one as if grease can come out water can get in, then it will wear rapidly.... so because you obviously are not going to do this i would find a repair shop that is recommended to perform a check of these componets for wear and get a price for r/r.... also after this is corrected when changing oil,,,, greasing of these parts is recommended.....
