grand am

i want to buy a car this late fall, and was looking at a car at my local dealer. a 2004 pontiac grand am gt coupe, 36,212 miles, 3.4L V6 , auto tranny. about $14k they are asking for it. didnt look at it yet but, i have heard they are great and have heard they stink.are they good first cars?and just me or is that high? thanks

hello buck,in my area that is a little high 11k - 14k so your on high side.as far as the car my 98 has been a great car with no major problems. good luck

as for you having heard - " great - stink " - it really is an area you have to find on you own, nobody can tell you what suits their lifestyle has got to suit yours
Whatever vehicle you end up buying at your age, Insurance must be considered as a major factor before someone signs for you on the dotted line.

Good looking car with good miles, and fair price a touch beyond 11K in excellent condition with no blemished history reports.

ask dealer to provide you with a free history report by auto check or carfax via email before you decide to investigate your options further, I noted there was an auto check listed for this vehicle at cost $29.95,,, dont waste your money, if dealer want your business they will provide.

my parents looked at it the other day . and said................. thats to new for you . so i have to find something older. but i supose they are going to buy it, and me pay them back. like my personal bank.thanks alot for the help. maybe they will change there minds but dought it.
