C10 is a half ton. Chances are that's what you have.

Re: Motor question

A 3/4 ton would be a C20 if 2WD, K20 if 4WD.

Re: Motor question

ppl are so amusing

5 or 6 lug is 1/2 ton

8 lug is 3/4 and 1 ton

5 and 10, and 1500 is 1/2 ton

20 and 2500 are 3/4 ton

30 and 3500 are 1 ton

what does the fender say ?

how many lugs are on the hubs ?

its not rocket science

custom deluxe is just the package, appearance, interior level

it has nothing to do with the size/GVWR of the truck

there was also scottsdale, silverado and bonanza and some others

cheyenne, cheyenne super, silverado and bonanza were top of the line deluxe,
but bonanaza ended in 80
the cheyennes ended in 74 or 76

silverado has been around since 73
scottsdale and C/D also since 73 only
all these replaced each other eventually

custom and super custom and CST got replaced in 73 with a coupe of these newer years ones

custom deluxe is base model plain jane, be lucky if it has a chrome front bumper, and it probably has no carpeting, and wont have a headliner or anything else, original mirrors would be painted white also on a C/D, will have base model dog dish hub caps too, unless ralley wheels were ordered(see glovebox RPO sticker)

good luck
