S-10 has a hard time starting..

I have a 95 Chevy S-10 2.2L with the 5 speed, and it seems that i have to really push the clutch to the floorboards to get it to start, I don't have a problem shifting, its just gettting it to start is my problem any suggestions?

Not sure if that model has a switch that has to be made by pushing the clutch pedal in order for it to start. Might be worth looking into.
