Just trying to guess where to start with this problem. My ssei has had a starting problem the past 2 months. When I attempt to start, there is just a click, then nothing. Eventually the car will start, often after a long wait, or a jump. I'm trying to figure out where to begin solving this. I'm thinking the starter, but then also I figure there could be an electrical problem somewhere.
Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Re: Starter problem? 93 ssei
Is the click coming from under the dash or at the starter?
Best thing to do is check for 12 volts between ground & the small wire on the starter solenoid. PS - Also try cleaning all the connections at the battery. You need to remove the rubber boots from the battery cables to properly clean them. |
