Loose window control panel

I noticed my drivers side window control panel seemed loose so I tried to pop it off to see why. You ever heard the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?" well I haven't apparently...so after trying a little to pop it off, it seemed to become even more loose, so now I was commited to this little project... it didn't just pop off like I read it would. The metal clip was jammed, so after 15 minutes of gental prying, it flew off becuase the plastic clip at the top snapped. The plastic clip was a surprise, I thought they were both metal, if I had known that little fact I wouldn't have pried from the top so much! . Anyway, with a little super glue, it's as good as new, but the thing still wiggles around like crazy. So after all that, I've accomplished nothing. So my question, is it supposed to be so loose? I don't remember it being like that, but to be honest, I never felt the urge to grab it and wiggle it to see...

Re: Loose window control panel

Fixed it! For those sitting at the edge of their seat... it was becuase the plastic clip was designed to grap onto the door panel as well as the insulation behined it. My insulation had flopped over and wasn't pinned behined the clip anymore, giving the control panel a 1/4" of room to wiggle around. I knew I wasn't crazy...
