1989 dodge caravan alternator bracket
The alternator in my 89 caravan is not sitting level. Upon closer inspection I noticed that there is a crack where the alternator bracket bolts up to the engine. How can I repair this? The bracket itself looks ok.

Weld/braze the crack and shim the bracket maybe?
