all kinds of problems

okk just got my tsi back today pretty much the bottom end was rebuilt
so i was trying to break it in

problem 1. when you shift car bogs horribly bad, car has no take off what so ever every once in a while it would jerk and kinda take off just as if i shifted down but other then that it feels like im driving a lawn mower down the road

problem 2. some kind of rattling noise coming from the head then had starting problems it would take a while of turning over for it to start then it stalled at a stop light while clutch was engaged, then the car wouldnt even turn over even when i hooked the jumper cables up this is a brand new optima battery and the dam car wasnt even turning over i thought the engine was done at this point but i let it sit for few hours tried it for the hell of it and it turned over a bit but that was it

what is going on?

Re: all kinds of problems

could be many things, most likely a boost leak. if you have a turbo.

Re: all kinds of problems

Wow vince haven't heard anything from you in a long time.

Do a boost leak test and see what you find. Rattleing in the head doesn't sound good. Might want to take it back to the shop that worked on it and have them check it out.

Re: all kinds of problems

I'd say check the timing first and foremost, don't want to be bending any valves.

Re: all kinds of problems

well this is whats going on wastegate isnt working and the rattling noise is coming form the 1st cylinder I think its the valve guides it idles fine
my solution 6 bolt is going in and I have a 14b and another wastegate that is going on as well so that should take care of everything hopefully
