Wheels for a 93

I have 155R12's on my 93 metro currently and am in need of some new ones. Thats the problem. I called everywhere and checked online and was not able to find anyplace that stocks them or has them in stock. I guess the manufacturers stopped making them. I have decided I'm going to put 13s on so that it will easier to find tires now and later. I saw Wal-Mart had some 155-80-13s for $25. My question is what 13" wheels will fit my 93. Will 95 and up work(I believe 13s were stock then). Will they have the same lug pattern. If I'm correct it should be 4x114.3. I saw somewhere that 87-94 hyundai elentras had 13s with this lug pattern. I'll be going to junkyard soon to try and find some and would help if I knew what cars to be looking for. I've had gook luck so far at the local picknpull. Got a hood, fender, and door all with no dents for under 100 bucks. Also went ahead and got a drivers seat that is really clean and no tears for $25. I was amazed. Anyways, any info will help. Thanks guys.

Re: Wheels for a 93

This is a cut and paste from team swift. I am planning on doing the same thing. From what I can tell, you will need different lug nuts when going to 13's or you can use a washer with the old lug nuts. I think the new lug nut size is 10x1.25

This list was posted by Gasoline fumes a while back.
If you can think of any more, please post them up.

It's 114.3 mm across the center. Also happens to be 4.5 inches.

Here's a list of possible wheel donors:
(But I can't guarantee that all of these will fit a Swift, it's just a list of 4 x 4.5" wheels I saved)

Re: Wheels for a 93

Danman7, would you post your rim and tire size and what lugnuts you used. Also did you have to modify the rims at all?
