Fuel pump replacememt
Lumina, 2001, 3.1 ltr. Going to replace the fuel pump, sending unit. Anything I should be aware of or look out for when removing this tank? Are there any surprises or is it a straight, simple drop for the tank. Thanks.

Re: Fuel pump replacememt
Correct, watch the special fuel line lock clips on the fuel lines.

Re: Fuel pump replacememt
You must be talking about the plastic clips. Thanks. Also....I was looking into the fuel sending unit through OEHQ.com and the notes on this item said this is for cars with eec, which stands for electronic engine control. Is this car considered one with it? Thanks.
